From Quezon City to China: Actor Lance Carr's stolen phone takes a wild ride

Who knew a stolen phone could spark an international mystery? Lance Carr’s missing device, taken in Quezon City, has resurfaced in China—leaving everyone stunned.

Lance dropped the bombshell at a media conference for the Viva One series Hell University, held at Viva Cafe in Araneta City on January 21, 2026.

"Ang update sa cellphone ko, nasa Shenzhen, Guangdong, China na po siya ngayon. Nag-mall stop muna siya sa Greenhills bago pumunta ng China. (The update on my cellphone is that it is now in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. It stopped at the Greenhills mall before going to China)," said Lance, whose whereabouts were traced via the Find My Phone app.

The young actor added, "Nung nakita ko na bagong location, nasa China na siya. (When I saw the new location, it was already in China.)"

Carr’s phone vanished in the chaos of meeting fans after the Vivarkada concert on August 15, 2025, at the Araneta Coliseum.

Surveillance footage captured the moment an unidentified woman snatched his phone. Despite the crystal-clear image of the suspect, her identity remains a mystery and she has yet to be arrested.
