Missing girl found dead in Lipa City

LIPA CITY, Batangas – A 17-year-old missing girl was found dead in a grassy portion of Barangay Sico, this city, on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 22.
Police identified the victim as Cris Enustascion.
Investigation said the victim's brother was walking home from school with his friend when they noticed a body in the area. They approached the remains and the victim’s brother positively identified the body as his missing sister.
Manny informed his father and the discovery was reported to the barangay which coordinated with the local police.
The victim left home on Wednesday, Jan. 21, to attend the birth anniversary of a friend in Barangay Tambo, Lipa City. The victim failed to return home until her body was discovered. Further investigation is ongoing.
