Maynilad to implement temporary water interruption in parts of Las Piñas

The city government of Las Piñas announced that Maynilad Water Services, Inc. will implement a temporary water supply interruption in selected areas of the city to allow the interconnection of a new 1,800 mm-diameter pipeline to the existing 1,200 mm-diameter pipeline along Daang Hari corner Champaca in Muntinlupa City.
The scheduled water service interruption will take place on the following dates:
•Jan. 25: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. of Jan. 26
•Jan. 26: 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. of Jan. 27
•Jan. 27: 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. of Jan. 28
The local government said Barangay Almanza Dos will be affected, particularly the areas of BF Almanza, T.S. Cruz Subdivision, Ayala Southvale, and Versailles.
Maynilad said the activity is part of its continuing infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving water service reliability and efficiency in the service area.
The water concessionaire advised residents in the affected areas to store sufficient water ahead of the scheduled service interruption.
Normal water supply is expected to gradually resume after the completion of the pipeline interconnection works.
