Man nabbed for sexually abusing Grade 2 student in Marikina
A 51-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 22, for sexually abusing a Grade 2 student, who was then seven years old, in Barangay Malanday, Marikina City.

The Marikina City Police Station identified the suspect as “Piso,” listed as the No. 8 most wanted person at the district level for acts of lasciviousness.
Based on their investigation, the incident occurred on May 27, 2024, in front of a house in Barangay Malanday, where the suspect allegedly approached the victim and suddenly touched her private part.
The victim told her mother about the incident, prompting them to report it to authorities.
On Jan. 22, he was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Edwin A. Valdez of the Family Court, NCJR, Branch 7, Marikina City, with a recommended bail of P200,000.
He is now detained at the Marikina CPS Custodial Facility.
