Las Piñas City Mayor April Aguilar said that each rescued dog and cat carries a story of survival, hope, and unconditional love, and is waiting to meet families who will give them the second chance they deserve.
Aguilar shared that while these animals may have experienced hardship, they are ready to trust again and love endlessly.
The pet adoption activity, organized in coordination with the City Veterinary Office and in partnership with SM Center Las Piñas, will be held on January 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The mayor invited all pet lovers to take part in the event at the Upper Ground Level of SM Center Las Piñas, where wagging tails and gentle purrs will warmly welcome visitors.
Aguilar emphasized that choosing to adopt means more than bringing home a pet. It means saving a life, opening one’s heart, and becoming someone’s entire world. In return, adopters gain a loyal companion, a source of comfort, and a love that asks for nothing but care.
