Manila releases Jan. 28–30 schedule for P476.49M allowance payouts
The Manila City Government has released the payout schedule for Jan. 28 to 30 for the distribution of P476.488 million in allowances to senior citizens, solo parents, and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso shared the payout schedule during the Jan. 21 episode of “Talk To The People,” a live broadcast of the Manila Public Information Office.
Under the schedule, the cash release for barangay treasurers and chairpersons will be implemented by district, with Districts 1 and 2 set on Jan. 28, Districts 3 and 4 on Jan. 29, and Districts 5 and 6 on Jan. 30. The schedule applies to all beneficiary groups.
The mayor said the January payout will cover back payments for September to December 2025 for solo parents and PWDs, and October to December 2025 for senior citizens, noting that overdue obligations have already been reduced.
A total of 282,040 beneficiaries—including senior citizens, solo parents, adult PWDs, and PWD minors—are expected to receive allowances during the three-day payout period.
Based on figures presented during the announcement, P33.346 million will be distributed to 66,692 solo parents, while P97.458 million will go to 194,916 adult PWDs, both covering the period from September to December 2025. An additional P19.845 million has been allocated for 39,600 PWD minors.
Meanwhile, 205,504 senior citizens will receive a total of P325.839 million in allowances covering the period October to December 2025.
Domagoso said the latest release brings the total amount of allowances and pensions distributed since June 30, 2025, to more than P1.1 billion, underscoring the city government’s efforts to sustain social services while settling outstanding obligations.
