The appointment of a new Philippine distributor mirrors the recent developments undergone by the global KTM brand. Bajaj motorcycles are a product of Indian-based Bajaj Auto Limited (BAL). Bajaj Auto saved KTM from insolvency last year with a cash infusion of US$923-million. The transaction granted Bajaj an option to acquire Pierer Industrie AG's 50.1% stake in Pierer Bajaj AG, which BAL exercised to claim KTM's parent company, Pierer Industrie AG’s remaining shares. Now, the Indian brand assumes sole control of KTM and its sister motorcycle brands, Husqvarna, and GasGas.
For the past ten years, TTC and BAL have worked closely to bring reliable, efficient, and high-quality three-wheel vehicles to Filipino consumers. Today, more than 150,000 Bajaj three-wheelers are operating nationwide. TTC claims this is a testament to its robust dealer network, strong after-sales support, and commitment to providing practical mobility solutions to communities across the country. With the addition of KTM and Husqvarna, TTC is excited to deliver even more world-class riding experiences to Filipino enthusiasts. The new distributor promised that the arrival of the highly-anticipated 2026 models from both brands are on the horizon.
“This new chapter strengthens our mission to provide comprehensive mobility solutions to the Filipino market,” Raul Manglapus III, TTC President, said in a statement. “We are thrilled to bring the adventure and spirit of KTM and Husqvarna to more riders nationwide, alongside our expanding range of Bajaj products.”
TTC is motivated to offer more choices, more innovation, and more adventures. These new brands will be available through TTC’s extensive dealer network nationwide. Upcoming launches, events, and activities related to KTM and Husqvarna will be announced soon.
