Celebrating the Pasko in Full Bloom, Winford Resort and Casino Manila (WRCM) continues to pay it forward to the community last holiday season by sponsoring Christmas baskets for 600 households in Sta. Cruz area and donating 150 Besties of Joy plush toys in partnership with SM City San Lazaro and SM Cares.

Tradition continues

Winford Manila continued to partner with neighboring barangays for a gift-giving activity for select, underprivileged residents of the community. A cherished tradition since 2017, The Christmasaya sa Winford, held last Dec. 18, 2025, at Winford Ballroom, gathered community and leaders, stakeholders, and WRCM employees for a day of holiday cheers and festivity. 

Jeffrey Evora, Winford Manila’s president and COO, expressed his gratitude to the residents of nearby communities. “Hangad namin na ang simpleng Pamaskong Handog ng Winford Manila ay makapagdulot ng tuwa at ngiti sa bawat isa sa inyo na naririto ngayon. In our own ways, we want to make sure that your Pasko will always be in full bloom.” Jeffrey thanked the community for supporting the integrated resort since it first opened its doors in 2017.

Sharing smiles with Besties of Joy

This 2025, Winford Manila partners with SM Cares and SM City San Lazaro for its annual Buy-One-Donate-One initiative. With every purchase of the Bestie of Joy, you get to keep one plush toy while the other is donated to a child in need through a chosen charity or foundation. 

Last Dec. 26, Winford Manila and SM City San Lazaro turned over 150 pieces of Besties of Joy plush toys to Precious Heritage Ministries Foundation, Inc., a Manila-based, non-stock, non-profit, and charitable organization in the Philippines established to help the orphaned, abandoned, and neglected children and families in NCR and Region IV-A.

Through the Besties of Joy initiative of SM Cares and SM City San Lazaro, Winford Manila extended its joyful and meaningful experiences that reach beyond the integrated resort and bring positive impact to the community. 

Winford Manila, through its corporate social responsibility arm Winford Manila Foundation, Inc., champions and supports community initiatives. Just last April, Winford Manila awarded Caritas Manila a P4 million grant to support the Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP), with the first P1 million tranche already released on April 28, 2025. The remaining amount will be disbursed annually to ensure continuous and structured support for the scholars under the program.
