DAVAO CITY – Davao City officials recently held a five-day official visit to Fujian province in China to advance potential partnerships to support this city’s economic and sectoral priorities.
The visit from Jan. 13 to 17 was led by acting Davao City Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte II. He was accompanied by with city councilors, barangay officials, and technical staff from key offices.
City officials said the mission focused on engaging Chinese counterparts, exchanging governance and development practices, and identifying areas for cooperation in investment, tourism, agriculture, and technology.
They emphasized that the visit is expected to contribute to the city’s ongoing efforts to broaden international linkages and pursue collaborations aligned with Davao City’s long-term development agenda.
