Police arrested 446 wanted persons in Bacolod City last year.
Police Capt. Rosalino Pugoy, Bacolod police spokesperson, said active public participation contributed to the city police force’s anti-criminality campaign.
He said that information provided by people helped authorities strengthen intelligence gathering and locate wanted individuals more effectively.
Three-hundred fifty-two were other wanted persons and 94 were most wanted persons. Five were most wanted persons on the regional level, 26 on the city level, and 63 on the station level.
Police Station 9 arrested 57, followed by Police Station 2 with 53, and Police Station 1 with 51.
The number of regional-level arrests went up 400 percent from just one in 2024 to five last year. City-level apprehensions climbed by 62.5 percent, from 16 in 2024 to 26 in 2025.
BCPO officials credited the improved figures to stronger police-community partnerships and continued public vigilance.
