Minor, 2 others nabbed for robbing P555K worth of laptops in Rizal manufacturing company

A 16-year-old boy and two others were arrested for allegedly robbing a manufacturing company and stealing around P555,000 worth of laptops in San Mateo, Rizal, on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
The San Mateo Municipal Police Station (San Mateo MPS) identified the suspects as “Joshua,” 16; “James,” 21; and “Russell,” 32, all residents of San Mateo.
The company's HR supervisor requested police assistance from San Mateo MPS after discovering the incident.
According to the supervisor, upon entering their office at around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, she noticed that their office cabinets were in disarray, prompting her to immediately conduct inspection and inventory wherein she discovered 17 laptops worth around P555,000 were missing.
Responding officers reviewed closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, leading to the suspects identities.
An operation was immediately conducted which resulted in the arrest of the suspects and recovery of 12 stolen items from their possession, while the other laptops were unrecovered.
The suspects are now under the custody of San Mateo MPS for inquest proceedings.
