Fugitive nabbed in Muntinlupa

Police arrested a man listed as a top most wanted person for illegal drugs in Muntinlupa on Jan. 20.

The suspect, identified as alias Kenneth, 29, was nabbed at his residence in Purok 1, Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa.

The operation was led by the Southern Police District’s District Special Operations Unit in coordination with the District Intelligence Division, Intelligence Section of the District Mobile Force Battalion, and the Warrant and Subpoena Section of the Makati police.

He is facing a criminal case for violation of Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

The suspect was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest issued on Jan. 13 by Presiding Judge Romeo Buenaventura of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 256. No bail was recommended. He was brought to the SPD for documentation.

Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, SPD district director, commended the team for the arrest.
