Christian Pesigan takes helm of Coca-Cola Philippines

Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines (CCEAP) has appointed Ramon Christian Pesigan as the company’s new president and chief executive officer (CEO).
Pesigan assumed the role this month after replacing Gareth McGeown, who served as the head of CCEAP for the past seven years.
Before his appointment, Pesigan most recently served as the commercial vice president for more than two years, in charge of shaping the company’s commercial strategy.
Over the past decade, he has also held key leadership roles, including commercial go-to-market director and general trade director.
“It is an honor to lead [CCEAP] at such a transformative and exciting time,” said Pesigan.
“My passion for our purpose has never been greater, and with our 9,000 empowered associates who remain our greatest strength, we are more driven than ever to deliver sustainable growth for our people, customers, and communities,” he added.
McGeown said he is confident that Pesigan will build upon the company’s consistent growth and other gains during his seven-year tenure.
“Chris’ appointment is a testament to the strong foundation that we’ve built and I’m confident that he will build on the momentum as we continue our mission of refreshing the Philippines together,” he said.
With his exit from CCEAP, McGeown will assume the role of vice president and general manager for Coca-Cola Europacific Partners’ (CCEP) Australia, Pacific, and Southeast Asia (APS) business unit.
CCEP and Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. (AEV) acquired CCEAP from Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Company in February 2024 for $1.8 billion. CCEP owns 60 percent of CCEAP, while AEV controls the remaining 40 percent.
CCEAP is the bottling partner and official distributor of Coca-Cola products in the country.
The company operates across 18 manufacturing facilities and almost 70 distribution centers and sales offices in the country, offering 20 brands in its beverage portfolio and employing around 9,000 Filipinos.
