A HUGE bilao of Pancit Cabagan was served during the Bambanti Festival in Isabela on Tuesday.
CALASIAO, Pangasinan – A giant bilao or circular tray of Pancit Cabagan was served during the Bambanti Festival in the City of Ilagan in Isabela province on Tuesday.
The iconic noodle dish weighed 208 kilos and presented in a 16-foot circular tray.
It was cooked through the combined efforts of the 26 barangays of Cabagan led by Mayor Mila A. Mamauag.
Isabela Gov. Rodito Albano and Vice Gov. Kiko Dy led hundreds of people who partook of the food that showcased Isabela’s rich culinary heritage.
A pancit Cabagan speed-eating contest was held during the event.
Pancit Cabagan is one of Isabela’s popular and a must-try for visitors of the province.
