Police arrested two men for selling and possessing shabu in a buy-bust operation in Taguig on Jan. 21.
The operation was conducted by the Taguig police at a house on Pardiñas Street in Barangay South Signal, Taguig.
The arrested suspects were identified as alias Arman, 35, a newly identified street-level individual, and alias Mamad, 34, a street-level listed individual, both residents of Barangay South Signal.
During the raid, the police seized four plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 15.45 grams valued at P105,060. The police also recovered a P500 bill used as buy-bust money
The evidence was turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
The suspects are in police custody and will face a complaint for violation of Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) that will be filed before the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.
