Brooklyn Beckham reveals rift with David and Victoria: I do not want to reconcile with my family

Brooklyn Beckham, son of football superstar David Beckham and former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham, has opened up about a rift with his parents, saying he no longer wants to reconcile with them.

The eldest child of David and Victoria accused his parents of "trying endlessly to ruin" his relationship with Nicola Peltz Beckham and spreading "lies" in the media "to preserve their own facade."

After months of speculation about a feud within the high-profile family, Brooklyn stated that he had attempted to keep the situation private but was left with "no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth."

"I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life," wrote Brooklyn. "For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they go through to place countless lies in the media."
