Team Sweden recently visited Alfa Laval, a pioneering Swedish company recognized worldwide for its cutting-edge solutions in heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling.
Founded in the late 19th century, Alfa Laval takes its name from Gustaf de Laval, the visionary inventor behind the world’s first centrifugal milk-cream separator and an early milking machine. From those humble beginnings, the company has grown into a global powerhouse, holding more than 4,500 patents and operating subsidiaries in more than 100 countries.
Alfa Laval has been a trusted partner in the Philippines for four decades, establishing local operations in 1986. Today, it works with around 20 distributors nationwide, serving industries such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; food and beverage; and marine and energy.
This broad reach underscores Alfa Laval’s commitment to supporting sustainable and efficient industrial solutions across the country.
Part of the Alfa Laval Group, StormGeo is a leading technology provider that helps weather-sensitive companies manage operational challenges in complex and dynamic environments. In late 2021, StormGeo expanded its footprint by opening an office in the Philippines, catering primarily to clients in the shipping and energy sectors.
