Caloocan, Valenzuela LGUs open registration for February Kasalang Bayan ceremonies

The Caloocan and Valenzuela Cities have started accepting applications for their respective Kasalang Bayan programs scheduled on Feb. 14, reminding couples to submit complete requirements within the set timelines.

In Caloocan City, the local government announced that applications will be accepted from Jan. 19 to Feb.5.
Applicants are required to submit a birth certificate, a valid identification card, and a Certificate of No Marriage (Cenomar), with both original and photocopy versions. Couples with children are also required to submit their child’s birth certificate.
Applications will be processed at the Civil Registry Department of Caloocan City Hall, with the third floor designated for applicants from the North area and the sixth floor for those from the South area.
The city government emphasized that the Kasalang Bayan program is free and exclusive to Caloocan residents, with slots to be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Meanwhile, the Valenzuela City government announced that registration for Kasalang Bayan 2026 will be conducted through a one-stop shop on Jan. 20 at the audio-visual room (AVR) on the third floor of Valenzuela City Hall.

The local government said the registration will be conducted alongside required family planning seminars and marriage counseling for participating couples.
Both city governments advised applicants to complete their requirements early to avoid delays and to ensure inclusion in the February mass wedding ceremonies.
