Barber shot dead in Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A barber was shot dead here on Sunday, Jan. 18, the fourth shooting victim since the start of the year.
The victim was identified as Mark Salazar.
Investigation said Salazar was drinking soda in front of a store when the suspects – wearing black jackets and riding a black motorcycle – appeared and shot him in the chest. He died on the spot from a bullet wound.
The suspects fled toward the west coast.
Police found an empty shell of a .45 caliber pistol in the crime scene.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing and people with information were urged to coordinate with authorities.
