POLICE deployed to secure the Bambanti Festival.
CALASIAO, Pangasinan – The Isabela Police Provincial Office has deployed 300 police personnel to secure this year’s Bambanti Festival in the City of Ilagan, Isabela from Jan. 18 to 25.
A send-off ceremony was held at the IPPO grandstand in the City of Ilagan on Saturday, Jan. 17, to highlight the readiness of police units assigned to ensure peace, order, and public safety throughout the festival.
IPPO chief Police Col. Manuel B. Bringas said that police operations during the festival will focus not only on law enforcement but also on public assistance and community protection.
He said that strong coordination among police units, local government officials, and partner agencies remains key to ensuring a safe, orderly, and successful Bambanti Festival.
Meanwhile, the Bambanti Village opened this morning at the provincial capitol in Ilagan City, led by Vice Gov. Faustino “Kiko” Dy.
