Sexagenarian gunned down at home

CAMP FLORENDO, San Fernando City, La Union – A 65-year-old woman was shot and killed in Barangay San Vicente, Umingan, Pangasinan on Tuesday.
Police Major Jimmy Paningbatan, chief of the Umingan Police Station, said two men entered the house of the victim Lena and shot her.
The suspects fled aboard a motorcycle and the victim was declared dead in a hospital.
Police recovered an empty shell casing from a 9mm firearm and a hat worn by one of the suspects.
The victim had no enemies and outstanding debts.
Police said personal grudge may be a motive behind the killing.
Authorities are continuing manhunt and follow-up investigation.
