THROWBACK: Former beauty queen Sara Jane Paez plays Family Feud

Former beauty queen Sara Jane Paez-Santiago had the opportunity to compete on Family Feud with her family in an episode that aired on Jan. 25, 2024.

Sara was joined by her husband, Nicky Santiago, her sister, Gina Paez-De Villa, and her brother-in-law, Noel De Villa, during the episode, as they competed against the Theater Gems team led by Gem Padilla Thomas, with Lot-lot Bustamante, Mad Nicolas, and Ricci Chan.

Joining the game for the first time, Sara dedicated the game to her kids, Sarina and Mac.

"Actually, the reason why we're here, kasi sabi ng mga anak ko, 'ma, you have to do it'. So, this is for you, Sarina and Mac," she said.

After three rounds, Sara and her family eventually got the lead score and played through the finals with her husband.

In her last appearance on Family Feud, the game show paid tribute to Sara with a Facebook post.

"Rest in Peace Ms. Sara Jane Paez-Santiago, Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 1989 - whose energy, charm, and wit as team captain propelled her team to a victory on Family Feud last January 25, 2024," the post wrote.
