PWD fatally hit by dump truck in Pangasinan

CALASIAO, Pangasinan – A 19-year-old man was hit and killed by a dump truck in Barangay San Miguel here on Thursday, Jan. 15.
Police identified the victim as Male Jero of Pantal West, Dagupan City.
Investigation said the victim allegedly jumped under the passing dump truck. He died on the spot due to severe injuries.
Police said the victim was a registered Person with Disability (PWD) with a mental condition.
The victim was standing on the roadside moments before the incident.
The truck driver and the vehicle were brought to the Calasiao Municipal Police Station for follow-up investigation and proper disposition.
