Pandacan releases schedule for Feast of Sto. Niño celebrations

Church officials in Pandacan have released the schedule of activities for the Feast of Sto Niño de Pandacan, which will be observed from January 16 to January 18.

The celebration will open on Jan. 16 with the Ante Visperas scheduled at 7 p.m. at a temporary mass area.

Activities will continue on Jan. 17 with the Visperas Mayores, featuring the buling buling ng Maynila at 12 noon and the pagtatanghal ng Buganda Tribe at 7 p.m.

The main celebration on Jan. 18, the Kapistahan ng Poong Sto Niño de Pandacan, will include a series of Holy Masses throughout the day.

Masses are scheduled at 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., followed by additional Masses at 12 noon, 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 6 p.m.

Special liturgical celebrations are also lined up, including the Misa ng Ati at ihan at 6:00 a.m. and the Misang Maringal at 9 a.m. The feast will conclude with the Maringal na Prusisyon at 7 p.m.

Devotees are encouraged to take note of the schedule and make the necessary arrangements in anticipation of large crowds during the feast activities.
