Nxled unveiled a full arsenal ahead of the Premier Volleyball League season after acquiring highly touted players Brooke Van Sickle, MJ Phillips, Myla Pablo and Jules Tolentino.
The team made the announcements on social media on Thursday, Jan. 15, bringing their total haul to 13 new players in time for the All-Filipino Conference scheduled in a few weeks.
All four players formed the core of the Petro Gazz Angels, who captured the All-Filipino and Reinforced Conference titles last year before taking a leave of absence this year.
Van Sickle, in particular, won the Conference Most Valuable Player in the Reinforced, while Phillips was the 2024-25 All-Filipino Finals MVP.
Pablo, for her part, won multiple MVP trophies while Tolentino was a promising setter and a former De La Salle Lady Spikers standout.
The latest recruits join the first wave of signings, which include seasoned players Bang Pineda and Nicole Tiamzon, libero Jellie Tempiatura, opposite hitter AA Adolfo and setter Joyme Cagande, announced on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
Also included among the early signings were fellow former Angels Ranya Musa, Jonah Sabete and Djanel Cheng, former Chery Tiggo standout Aby Maraño and former Choco Mucho Aduke Ogunsanya.
They will join the core that includes Lyann de Guzman, Chiara Permentilla, Krich Macaslang, Lucille Almonte, Jovelyn Fernandez and EJ Laure, among others.
