Driver rescued from wrecked truck cabin in Manila road crash

Rescuers from the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) safely extracted a man from the wreckage of his container truck after it crashed into another truck on Mel Lopez Blvd. in Manila on Tuesday night, Jan. 13.
According to the rescuers, the victim sustained wounds on both of his knees and complained of severe pain in his left leg.
He was subsequently brought to the hospital where he was given additional medical treatment.
Meanwhile, no one was hurt from the other truck.
Authorities said the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
