This is it: BTS to hold concert in PH after nearly 10 years
Grammy-nominated K-pop superstars BTS will be returning to the Philippines for a group concert after nearly 10 years.
Big Hit Music, their agency, announced the 2026 world tour of BTS on Jan. 13, their first since finishing their military service.
In the Philippines, BTS will hold the concert on March 13 and 14, 2027.
Here are the dates and cities of BTS’ new world tour:
The last time that BTS held a group concert in the Philippines was nine years ago when they held the 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III (Final Chapter): The Wings Tour on May 6 and 7, 2017 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
BTS held their last concert before military service on Oct. 15, 2022 through the BTS’ Yet To Come in Busan.
Jin was the first member to enlist in the military in December 2022. By June last year, all BTS members had completed the mandatory military service.
Before the world tour, BTS will release their fifth studio album on March 20.
“Featuring 14 tracks, the album is packed with honest stories that BTS wants to share with ARMY, who have been waiting for their pm comeback as a whole group. Filled with the music that’s most true to BTS, the album is their heartfelt way of saying thank you to ARMY, who have been there this whole time,” Big Hit Music previously announced.

NEW YORK (AP) — The BTS comeback is upon us.
The K-pop septet has announced a 2026 - 2027 world tour, kicking off in South Korea in April and running through March 2027 with over 70 dates across Asia, North America, South America, Australia, and Europe.
They mark the group’s first headline performances since their 2021–22 Permission to Dance on Stage tour.
A presale will take place Jan. 22 and Jan. 23 for ARMY Membership holders who register on Weverse, an online fan platform owned by BTS management company HYBE. A general sale for all regions will follow on Jan. 24.
The news arrived a few weeks after the entertainment company BigHit Music announced that BTS would return to music on March 20, following a nearly 4-year hiatus. That’s because all seven members of BTS — RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook and j-hope — had to complete South Korea’s mandatory military service.
Rapper Suga was the last group member to be released from his duties as a social service agent, an alternative to serving in the military that he reportedly chose due to a shoulder injury. That was in June 2025.
