Temporary power interruption in parts of Las Piñas scheduled on Jan. 14–15

The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) will undertake line reconstruction and the replacement of old and hazardous utility poles in parts of Las Piñas City on Jan. 14 and 15.
The city government of Las Piñas advised affected residents to make the necessary preparations ahead of the scheduled maintenance activities, including charging electronic devices and securing appliances, as the power supply will be temporarily interrupted during the conduct of the works.
Meralco said the activity forms part of its continuing efforts to improve the reliability and safety of its power distribution system and to prevent possible service disruptions caused by aging and hazardous poles.
The replacement of hazardous poles will be carried out in BF International Village, Barangay Manuyo Dos, and Barangay Pulanglupa Dos from Jan. 14 to 15.
Meanwhile, line reconstruction activities are scheduled in Barangay Almanza Uno on Jan. 15.
Meralco assured the public that power would be restored immediately after the completion of the line activities and encouraged residents to monitor official advisories for updates on the schedule.
