Muntinlupa City gov't to receive ISO 9001:2015 certification

The Muntinlupa City government will receive the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 certification after passing an audit. 

Mayor Ruffy Biazon said the audit of the city government for the ISO 9001:2015 certification showed “recommended for issuance of certificates.” 

“ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems (QMS), designed to help organizations improve processes, ensure consistency, and meet regulatory requirements. With ISO 9001 certification, your company demonstrates its commitment to quality, which can boost customer confidence and open new market opportunities,” according to the website of TUV Rheinland, which offers ISO certifications.

Biazon added, “Maraming salamat sa lahat ng staff natin na nag-cooperate at naglaan ng oras, lalo na sa ating Quality Management System (QMS) Working Team, who went the extra mile para maging maayos ang naging audit ng TÜV Rheinland. Dahil sa inyo, one step closer na tayo sa full ISO certification (Many thanks to all our staff who cooperated and took the time, especially to our Quality Management System [QMS] Working Team, who went the extra mile to make the audit by TÜV Rheinland go smoothly. Because of you, we are one step closer to full ISO certification).” 

“Paulit-ulit ko ngang bukambibig, ang pinakamalaking room sa City Hall ay hindi ang Mayor’s Office o ang AVR, kundi ang room for improvement. Kaya dapat tuloy-tuloy lang ang mindset of competing with ourselves to make ourselves better than we were before. To leave everything better than we found it (As I have said many times, the biggest room in City Hall is not the Mayor's Office or the AVR, but the room for improvement. So the mindset of competing with ourselves to make ourselves better than we were before should continue. To leave everything better than we found it),” he said. 

The audit began on Nov. 26 last year and ended on Jan. 9.

The Muntinlupa City government will receive the official ISO certification after the complete process of its issuance.
