Handcuffed man with gunshot wounds found dead on Antipolo roadside

An unidentified man with gunshot wounds and handcuffed hands was found dead along the roadside of Sitio Aduas in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City, on Sunday morning, Jan. 11.

The Antipolo City Component Police Station (Antipolo CCPS) said the victim was discovered by a barangay personnel, who immediately reported the incident to Police Community Precinct 3 (PCP3).
Upon responding to the area, they found the victim, who was wearing a red T-shirt and blue-and-pink jersey shorts, lying on the roadside with apparent gunshot wounds to the head and body. His hands were also handcuffed.
The victim was described as small-built and about 5’2” in height.
Authorities said that the place where the victim was found is a wooded location far from residential houses.
They are now conducting a follow-up investigation, including the search for possible witnesses and nearby CCTV cameras, to determine the identity of the victim and the details of the incident.
