LINGAYEN, Pangasinan -- Police arrested seven persons for allegedly robbing a convenience store in Jaen, Nueva Ecija on Jan. 12.
Police said the suspects forced their way into the store by breaking the roll-up door.
The suspects carted away a vault containing about ₱82,600 and grocery items worth around ₱12,000.
The group fled onboard an L300 van.
Police traced the suspects through CCTV footage, leading to their arrest in Barangay Greater Lagro, Novaliches, Quezon City.
Recovered were the stolen cash and items, as well as a shotgun and a 9mm pistol.
The suspects are in police custody and facing charges for robbery and violation of the firearms law.
