The suspects were apprehended at around 2:30 a.m. along Mahogany Street, Barangay 145, Zone 16, Pasay City, by operatives of the Pasay City Police Baclaran Substation while conducting foot patrol operations.
De Sesto said police officers observed a group of men seated in a circular formation and engaged in illegal gambling known as "Cara y Cruz," with bet money openly displayed.
Upon noticing the presence of the police, several individuals fled the scene, while the four suspects were arrested.
Recovered from the suspects were three one-peso coins used as flippers, bet money amounting to P600, one small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing approximately 0.20 gram of shabu worth P1,360 recovered from Joel, and one .38 caliber revolver with three rounds of ammunition recovered from Jani.
