PDEA: P136.18 million worth of illegal drugs seized in 6-day nationwide operations

Around 136.18 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated by government anti-narcotics authorities during 53 nationwide operations conducted from Jan. 4 to 9, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) stated.

During the operations, the PDEA said that 43 buy-bust operations, six interdiction and four marijuana eradication operations were conducted across the country.

As a result of the anti-drug operations, 53 drug pushers, 13 drug den visitors/clients, four drug den owners/maintainers, one possessor, one drug den employee and four importers were nabbed during the six-day period.

Seized were 18,522.31 grams of shabu; 4,483.66 grams of dried marijuana leaves and bricks; 4,068.00 grams of marijuana kush; 20,400 pieces of marijuana plants; 290 milliliters of cannabis oil and 149 grams of marijuana oil were confiscated.
