ILOILO CITY – MORE Electric and Power Corp. (MORE Power) vowed better services this year in Iloilo City and continue preparing for the expansion of services in Iloilo province.
“There are new customer programs that we will be launching and improving this year here in Iloilo as well as in our expansion areas, to ensure excellent service,” disclosed MORE Power CEO and President Roel Castro.
Among the strategies are utilizing smarter technology.
MORE Power is keen on expanding Artificial Intelligence (AI) use to collect analytics and data through centralized servers that will allow for faster and efficient ways to deal with consumer concerns.
MORE Power is also looking into using Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) to help consumers track their energy use.
On the infrastructure side, MORE Power will construct additional substations. It targets to have a total of nine substations this year as eight of its substations have a capacity of 252.2 megavolt-amperes (MVA).
MORE Power is also boosting its energy mix with more supply from renewable power plants to keep electricity rates affordable.
Castro vowed that more infrastructure will be built for its expansion to towns in the second and fourth districts of Iloilo.
MORE Power has linked the extension campus of the University of Saint La Salle in Pavia town and is set to bring electricity to the towns of Santa Barbara and San Miguel.
