UCC College of Law produces 16 new lawyers in 2025 Bar exams

The University of Caloocan City (UCC) – College of Law produced 16 new lawyers in the 2025 Bar Examinations after posting a 72.73 percent passing rate, significantly higher than the national average of 48.98 percent.
According to the city’s Public Information Office, the latest batch of passers marks the highest number recorded by the UCC College of Law since its establishment, highlighting a major milestone in the institution’s growth as a provider of legal education.
The strong performance placed the city-run law school among institutions that exceeded the national average in one of the country’s most demanding licensure examinations.
Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan congratulated the new lawyers, saying their success strengthens the city’s efforts to expand access to quality legal education.
“Congratulations to our new UCCian lawyers! Pinasasalamatan at binabati rin natin ang buong UCC-COL sa pagkakamit ng 72.73 percent overall passing rate at sa inyong patuloy na paghubog sa mga mag-aaral upang maging mahuhusay na abogado (We thank and congratulate the entire UCC College of Law for achieving a 72.73 percent overall passing rate and for your continued efforts in shaping students into excellent lawyers),” Malapitan said.
“Sa ating mga bagong abogado, patunay kayo ng sipag, talino, at determinasyon ng Batang Kankaloo. Nawa’y gamitin ninyo ang inyong kaalaman at kakayahan sa pagseserbisyo nang tapat at may integridad para sa bayan (To our new lawyers, you are proof of the hard work, intelligence, and determination of Batang Kankaloo. May you use your knowledge and skills to serve the public with honesty and integrity),” he added.
Malapitan also said that the achievement reflects both the dedication of the graduates and the sustained efforts of the faculty in preparing students for the Bar examinations.
The local government added that the results underscore the growing role of the UCC College of Law in producing legal professionals for both public service and the private sector.
