K-pop girl group KiiiKiii to release new album 'Delulu Pack'
K-pop’s fast-rising Gen Z girl group KiiiKiii, composed of Jiyu, Leesol, Sui, Haum, and Kya, will return with their second mini-album, “Delulu Pack,” that will be released on Jan. 26.
The Starship Entertainment’s K-pop group announcement came alongside the reveal of a new set of concept photos shared through the group’s official social media channels, officially kicking off comeback promotions.
The newly unveiled photos showed a playful calendar-inspired concept, presenting twelve distinct versions of a “new KiiiKiii,” each representing a different month of the year.
Through bold styling, surreal props, and expressive visuals, the images captured a sense of renewal, possibility, and imagination, reflecting the excitement of stepping into a new year.
Across the calendar, each member sports a custom-designed hat unique to every month, highlighting KiiiKiii’s evolving personalities and individual charms. The overarching New Year theme is further elevated through a clever fashion-forward interpretation of “New Era,” blending wordplay with visual storytelling in a way that underscores the group’s signature wit and Gen Z sensibility.
The concept photos balance cheerful energy with slightly surreal imagery, aligning with the album’s title “Delulu Pack.” a playful nod to the slang term “delulu,” meaning delightfully delusional.
Inspired by the idea of making imaginative and unapologetic New Year’s wishes, the release builds anticipation for the message and soundscape KiiiKiii will unveil through the album.
The new album follows a breakout year for KiiiKiii. They debuted with the mini-album “Uncut Gem,” which surpassed 30 million Spotify streams and earned critical acclaim for its bold Y2K-inspired aesthetic and emotionally honest storytelling.
The pre-release single “I Do Me” has amassed over 16 million music video views, while the follow-up single “Dancing Alone” further showcased the group’s range with its nostalgic yet modern sound and inventive visual storytelling.
KiiiKiii recently collaborated with Tabo of Epik High on “To Me From Me,” which served as the official soundtrack to the KakaoPage webtoon “Dear.X.”
