DPWH halts traffic on Pagadian–Zamboanga City road due to rockfalls

Traffic is being rerouted while corrective measures are undertaken to prevent accidents along the affected Gatub–Lakewood section, the agency said.
Motorists are advised to take the Junction Tubod–Lakewood–Salagmanok–Junction Diplo route, which spans about 33.3 kilometers with an estimated travel time of 35 minutes.
An alternative is the Junction Tubod–Salagmanok–Depase–Junction Poblacion Buug route, approximately 42.4 kilometers and around 45 minutes travel time.
The DPWH urged road users to remain vigilant, follow traffic signs, and cooperate with authorities amid the ongoing road closure.
