BAGUIO CITY – The historic crowd event Panagbenga or Baguio Flower Festival will be launched by the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. (BFFFI) and the city government on Jan. 12, heralding its month-long celebration that will kick off on Feb. 1.
The theme of the 30th edition of the flower festival is Blooming Without End, highlighting the festival’s continued growth over the past three decades.
Mayor Benjamin Magalong and Rep. Mauricio Domogan, BFFFI chairman emeritus, together with BFFFI officials, will lead the launching of the calendar of activities for Panagbenga.
The annual Panagbenga is a major event here attended by thousands of people and is one of the most visited festivals in the country. Panagbenga is the only festival in the country included in the list of select members of the International Festivals and Events Association.
