Starting her career in modeling, Russian headturner Anastasiia is now focusing on a new journey: acting.
During an intimate online press conference, Anastasiia shared how her passion for acting started.
"Becoming an actress was my big dream since I was a little girl. My family supported me so much — they taught me discipline, kindness, and to dream big. Acting allows me to live many different lives, understand different characters, and express something deeper," she said.
She did not step into it unprepared, relating how she took time to actually hone her acting skills prior.
"I studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and that’s where I truly fell in love with cinema. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work on several international projects around the world, and acting has become the biggest part of my life," she added.
Currently based in UAE, Anastasiia hopes to expand her work as an actress in the Philippines after bagging her first lead role in the film "John Shaw: Nuclear Winter."
"I would really love to continue my career in the Philippines. From the first time I came here, I felt how warm and sincere the people are. There is so much heart, emotion, and love for cinema. The energy of the Philippines inspires me to grow as an actress," she shared.
Anastasiia dreams of doing roles that highlight the strength of a woman.
"I want to play strong, complex women — mysterious, layered, with inner conflict. I’m very drawn to psychological thrillers, dramas, and historical films. Recently I watched 'Maria' with Angelina Jolie, and I loved how deep and emotional that role was. I would love to play something like that — a powerful female lead with real soul," she added.
Aside from acting, Anastasiia is also into business. She has already established her own perfume brand.
"It is based in the UAE, and it has already been a few years since I released my first collection. For me, perfume is not only about fragrance, but it is also my creative expression. It’s another way for me to share something meaningful with the world," she said.
