Photojournalist dies during Traslacion coverage

A photojournalist reportedly died while covering this year's Feast of Jesus Nazareno on Friday, Jan. 9, the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) said.
The victim was identified as 55-year-old Itoh Son, working for the tabloid Saksi.
According to the initial report, Son was found unconscious and without a pulse near the Manila Police District (MPD) Station 5.
He was immediately brought to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center for medical treatment but was later declared dead on arrival.
