Cavite police said the arrest and the seizure of a large quantity of illegal drugs underscore their firm resolve to rid communities of illegal drugs.

CAVITE – Authorities arrested a drug suspect and seized P370,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas City, on Tuesday, Jan. 6.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office (Cavite PPO) identified the high-value individual as alias Sha.

The suspect was caught in the act of selling illegal drugs.

Confiscated from the possession of alias Sha were 55 grams of white crystalline substance.

Also seized were a weighing scale, a black pouch, and a P500 bill used as buy-bust money.

The drug evidence was submitted to the Provincial Forensic Unit in Imus City for laboratory examination.

The suspect, meanwhile, is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Cavite PPO Acting Provincial Director Sol. Ariel R. Red said in a statement that the arrest and the seizure of a large quantity of illegal drugs underscore the Cavite PPO’s firm resolve to rid communities of illegal drugs.
