The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has released the schedule for January 6 to 12 as lane repairs continue along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue, or EDSA.
DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon said the overnight repairs are timed to minimize traffic disruption while asphalt overlaying, rotomilling, and concrete reblocking proceed on selected lanes.

January 8-10, 2026 – Vanguard Academy to Kalayaan Flyover, second to fourth lanes
Northbound lanes
January 7, 2026 – Aurora Boulevard to Apelo Cruz, third to fifth lanes

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes and plan trips ahead as lane reductions are expected during repair hours.
Dizon added that EDSA’s rehabilitation, which started on Dec. 24, is targeted for completion within eight months.
Phase one covers Roxas Boulevard to Orense, while phase two will rehabilitate the remaining sections of the highway.
