Governor Daniel R. Fernando praised the province’s farmers, agriculture workers, and extension officers for their dedication, emphasizing that the award is a testament to collective effort in strengthening Bulacan’s agricultural sector.
This recognition is the result of the hard work, perseverance, and unity of our agricultural workers and farmers. Their sacrifices and dedication ensure food security for Bulacan and the entire region),” Fernando said.
Provincial Agriculture Office (PAO) head Ma. Gloria SF. Carrillo echoed the governor’s sentiments, describing farmers as the backbone of Bulacan’s agricultural success.
She stressed that all provincial programs and interventions are designed to uplift farmers’ livelihoods.
Alongside the provincial award, DA-RFO III also honored Outstanding Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) in the region.
