Celebrity siblings Anne and Jasmine Curtis-Smith mourn the demise of their father, James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. He was 82.

Anne and her family announced his loss on Instagram on Jan. 7. She did not reveal the cause of his death. Details of the wake are yet to be finalized. Her full post:

"It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected yet peaceful passing of our father, James E. Curtis-Smith.
"A true patriarch in every sense, he shaped us with strength, resilience, and a wit that will forever echo in our family.
"He was deeply loved, endlessly admired, and will live on in our hearts always. We will miss him dearly. - The Curtis-Smith Family."
Friends and fans of Anne and Jasmine expressed their condolences and prayers in the comments on her post.
