Korean agency Source Music to hold first-ever global boy audition
Source Music, the Korean agency that manages K-pop act Le Sserafim, will be holding its first-ever global audition to recruit male trainees.
It officially revealed the launch of the "Source Music 2026 Global Boy Audition," opening its website and applications for a three-week period beginning Jan. 5.
Application period: Jan. 5 to 25, 2026
Eligibility: Male applicants born in 2008 or later
Nationality/residence: Open worldwide, no restrictions
Application method: Online submission via the official Source Music audition website
Categories: Vocal, rap, dance, or any format that best showcases individuality and talent
Founded on the belief that “music with a clear source and reason can truly resonate with the listener’s emotions,” Source Music has built a strong reputation as a label with proven production and management capabilities, having developed global female acts such as GFriend and Le Sserafim.
It is now looking to extend its production and management expertise to male talent.
The agency also unveiled the official audition poster through its website and social media channels.
The poster features a spacecraft, drawing on space-exploration imagery to underscore the significance of Source Music's first-ever global male trainee audition.
A promotional video was also released simultaneously on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel and the audition’s official social media, with additional content set to roll out throughout the three-week application period to further build momentum and engagement around the global audition.
