Palma, Saet join Strong Group

Strong Group Athletics continues beefing up its rosters in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) by signing veterans Remy Palma and Chie Saet.

The team announced Palma’s acquisition on Monday, Jan. 5, less than a day after acquiring Saet. Both players came from the Petro Gazz Angels.

Palma will also be part of the coaching staff, serving as playing assistant coach.

“Preparing for the next stage! Remy Palma joins Strong Group as playing assistant coach, ready to share her experience while still leading on the court,” the post read.

“Strong mind, strong heart! Chie Saet joins Strong Group, bringing leadership, experience and calm under pressure to the squad,” another post read.

Similar to the early acquisitions of Bia General and Royse Tubino, the teams that Palma and Saet would join had yet to be determined. Strong Group has two affiliated teams in the league, namely Farm Fresh Foxies and ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles.
