Man wanted for statutory rape in Taguig arrested in Nueva Ecija
A man wanted in Taguig City for statutory rape was arrested in Nueva Ecija on Jan. 5.
The suspect, identified as alias Aljun, 30, a conductor, was nabbed in a coordinated law enforcement operation at about 1 p.m. in Barangay Malabon Kaingin, Jaen, Nueva Ecija.
The suspect was listed as Southern Police District's No. 3 most wanted person for January.
He was arrested by operatives from the Taguig police and the Special Detection and Intelligence Team of the Regional Intelligence Unit in the National Capital Region.
His apprehension was based on a warrant of arrest for a case of statutory rape under Republic Act 11648 issued by Presiding Judge Loralie Cruz Datahan of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69, Taguig City. No bail was recommended.
After his arrest, the suspect was brought to the Taguig–Pateros District Hospital for physical and medical examination.
