Calasiao LGU removes spaghetti wires

CALASIAO, Pangasinan – The local government unit is removing spaghetti wires and obsolete utility posts here.
Officials said the initiative aims to reduce potential hazards caused by tangled, low-hanging, and unused cables and improve the overall appearance of major roads and public spaces.
Covered by the activity are Calasiao-San Carlos Road (from Villamil Bridge to Jollibee Intersection),Barangay Lasip Road, Barangay Gabon Road (from AMCO to Gabon Bridge), Poblacion, and Barangay Nalsian to Barangay Ambonao Road.
Officials said that the cleanup drive is part of a long-term program to achieve a safer, more orderly, and clean Calasiao.
Motorists and residents were advised to be cautious and extend cooperation while cleanup activities are ongoing.
