This past 2025 was a productive year for Parañaque City 2nd district Rep. Brian Raymund Yamsuan, as his local programs were able to benefit an estimated 100,000 of his constituents.
The year that was covered the first six months of Yamsuan’s term as district congressman, which began on June 30, 2025.
Aware of the plight of the vulnerable sectors in the city, Yamsuan launched the distribution of livelihood packages under his Bigay Negosyo program.
This program, which Yamsuan has been implementing to expand economic opportunities for Parañaque residents in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), has so far yielded 1,148 beneficiaries.
“In 2026, we will further streamline the implementation of the Bigay Negosyo and other programs that will help ease access to quality healthcare, jobs, livelihood opportunities, and education for Parañaque residents," he said.
"Our goal is to level the playing field for everyone and ensure that they directly benefit from these programs without any need for a padrino, a political sponsor, or any other form of middleman,” Yamsuan explained.
The first time district representative has been fulfilling this goal by shifting most of the applications for these programs online and providing his constituents with “HOPE” cards to speed up registration processes and track the delivery of government aid. An estimated 48,000 such cards have been distributed.
Yamsuan’s successful BAON program has benefited 8,000 students since June, Earlier batches of about 5,000 students have also received BAON benefits even before Yamsuan assumed office as Parañaque congressman.
Other national government support programs that Yamsuan has helped bring to the second district include his Programang Panghanapbuhay Para sa Pamilyang Parañaqueño (P5), the Jobs and Uptraining for the Modern Pinoy (JUMP), and the Maginhawang Buhay Program, which have provided assistance to over 12,000 Parañaque residents.
The solon’s various other initiatives such as the Botika on Wheels, PADALA, and Medical Assistance Program have yielded close to 4,000 beneficiaries.
And then there's his feeding programs. Over 25,000 sets of hot porridge have so far been distributed under Yamsuan’s Yam Meals project since June 30, 2025. Yamsuan’s Extra Rice Program has been benefiting thousands of Parañaqueños even before his term began.
Through national government agencies such as the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Yamsuan has also provided burial assistance and other forms of aid to Parañaqueños.
