'Zootopia 2,' 'Demon Slayer,' 'My Daughter is a Zombie' lead box office in South Korea in 2025
The American animated film “Zootopia 2” emerged as the No. 1 film in South Korea in 2025 based on total cinema admissions.
The Korean Film Council (KOFIC) released the rankings for the top films in South Korea last year.
“Zootopia 2” is No. 1 with 7.7 million in total admissions, posting a gross of $51.26 million in South Korea.
The Japanese film “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle Arc” ranked second with 5.69 million in total admissions with a yearly gross of $42.4 million.
Placing third is the Korean zombie film “My Daughter is a Zombie” with 5.63 million and gross of $36.74 million.
Brad Pitt’s “F1” film is third with 5.21 million in total admissions and gross of $37.99 followed by “Avatar: Fire and Ash” with 4.56 million in total admissions and gross of $36.24 million.
Unlike in 2024, no film reached 10 million in total admissions in South Korea in 2025.
